  1. They are really cool and just in time for summer.
  2. I have both that one and Hooked on Crochet. Of the two I prefer Hooked, it seems to be a better magazine. Now they are going to combine the two and heaven help us as to what is going to happen. I wasn't going to renew my Annies again anyway. So yes, Annie's can be disappointing more than not.
  3. If I am reading this right, you will do it in the next stitch. That is how you decrease. If you put it in the same stitch, you will have the same amount of stitches not one less.
  4. Very beautiful. I love the second one.
  5. This outfit is so cool. I love the starfish on the hat. Can't wait to see what you come up with next.
  6. Hi everyone and I am so glad you all like this bag. I myself like it quite a bit. As for who gets it, is a random thing. I never have anyone in particular in mind. Now this is not the bag for the auction, but there will be one. I am working on that one and July's at the same time. Thanks for the compliments and I am glad you like it.
  7. Wow it is almost June already. Boy how time flies when you are having fun. June reminds me of Brides and daisies, Warm weather and Sunshine. So keeping that in mind, this month’s bag is made with Daisy Ombre with gold handles. The pocket is white with gold lettering. It also has a daisy to hold the bag closed. Without further ado, let me introduce you to this month’s bag, Crochetville JUNE SUNSHINE Tote Bag The pattern is Victorian Charm by Lily. I use a size #10 thread and size 7 hook for pocket that is 70 sts x 60 rows. Finally the yarn used for the bag is Peaches and Cream cotton, but I am sure any yarn will do. The group so far
  8. Last week ordered 6 cones of Peaches and Cream. For one beach cover-up and 5 bags. ( clickable) Ordered on Wednesday got it on Friday.
  9. I usually use size 10, have played with 8 and 5 and made 2 doilies out of sewing thread.
  10. That is just beautiful. I love the colors and the color placement. You did a magnificent job.
  11. Maybe you can find what you want here: http://www.kathleenearly.com/
  12. Congrats on winning the pattern and for having a wonderful DH.
  13. Do you want to do it in sc or afghan stitch? I can not see the web site you listed. Alls I get is a blank page. As for doing a graph here is where, if you have apicture you can have it made into a graph. http://www.microrevolt.org/knitPro/
  14. Try this http://www.crochetpatterncentral.com/search.php when you scroll down, you will find patterns for Baby booties.
  15. As my father would say "His A-- is out". They are very beautiful. When some one makes a comment like that, it just shows their ignorance and that they do not know what they are talking about. Just ignore him.
  16. Ok what they have done to Ken is make him like a sometime weight lifter. Larger chest, arms, hips and thighs. I made a pair of pants with beads attached (Indian Chief) and I couldn't get them past his knees. (Sounds like me with levies) lol:rofl So I had to increase the size of the pants and the top.
  17. That is really cute. As for cleaning him, I guess it would depend on what he has inside and what the outside is. I guess though, a good spot cleaner would do. You could crochet and stuff a nose for him.
  18. Do what I do. Go up a hook, do a enough of the rows to make it over the bossoms and then try it on the doll. It has annoyed me that they changed the doll. I have also go as far as sew the top onto the doll after the dress is completely done. Stay away from the beach ones. The feet are to big for even the Barbie shoes let alone the ones you make. If you think it is tough getting the cloths to fit Barbie, try Ken. Talk about adjusting. Keep going up a hook till you get one that works.
