  1. Actually except for a few most of the family is voting for the other guy. No to answer your question, no one else has asked me to make another. I don't think I would, as it was a difficult graph to follow only blocks wer anything in the red and white. Other wise broken up into 10 block squares. I also chaged the direction of the afghan. The graph show 160 stitches and 230 rows, in other words it was turned. I preferred this like a flag.
  2. Welcome to Crochetville from the Gulf Coast of Florida. Grab your yarn and hooks, put your feet up and sit a spell. We are always so glad to meet new friends.😁 I am not very good with pattern reading, but maybe if you post this in Crochet Help, you will get more to answer.

    Snoopy

Love the pictures. Your progress is great.
  4. The sweater looks great. Your grandson is just adorable.
  5. Yeah decorations always help with feeling the holiday.
  6. Yes, that was fun. The pattern book has a pattern for different holidays. Yeah Brenda, I know. Everytime I see the house up the street with the skeletons climbing up the side of the house and the roof it makes me smile. My poor clowns. They are getting such a bad rap. I use to love clowns.
  7. Love the garland. I am trying to work up the gnome towels. I can't seem to get the gumption up. Judianne, sent a pm. Have a fun day. Oh and just an FYI, I posted the October table.
  8. Yeah I know what you mean. This neighborhood use to light up for Halloween like it does for Christmas. My one neighbor has ghost and bats out with the purple and orange lights. The guy down the corner has skeletons climbing up the how and all over the roof. It is really funny to see. We are not allowed to have signs on the lawn here, so he has a skeleton on the roof sitting over the door holding a Trump/Pence sign. It is really funny to see. It is not on their lawn, so the Management company can not complain. I love it.
  9. Howieann I do hope you teen feels better soon. Yeah another hurricane to hit Lousianna and Mississippi and some of the pan handle. Right now it is a Cat2 and could get bigger or disapate. Even the weather people are not sure what is going to happen. The hurrican season use to be till Nov. 1st, then Nov. 15th now it is Dec. 1st. They can't seem to make up their minds. Well, I did it. I hired someone to come in once or twice a month to clean. This was not an easy decision and today I am going thru my craft room to get rid of some boxes and such to make it look better. Nov. 1st they will be here for a deep cleaning, baseboards and such for the first cleaning, then it will be dusting and floors for the other times. I just have to get use to this idea. I will still do some when they are not here, but they will help keep it clean. Well, I am off to my room to do some more. Have a good day, everyone.
  10. This has been one strange year. People sick, told to stay home, wearing mask. Oh and lets not forget the craziest Presidential election. Some places are not having Halloween, so are but restricted. Here we are not sure. Here is the 2020 Halloween table.
  11. They are just adorable. I love the mulit colored ones. They can be used here for Halloween and Thanksgiving.

    sc graphghans

I do quite a few graph ghans, and yes it is easy to have extra stitches, especially when you are working with drak colors. I find when I start with the graph, I write out the rows. Example: Row 1 blue 15 stitches, Green 8 stitches, yellow 5 stitches. After you do that a few times, you can pretty much drop that and just follow the graph. Not to sound like a know it all, but you do start the graph right to left for odd rows and left to right for even rows.

  17. Love the sweater. It is so cute. Yeah, I get so mad at the shipping, but I had 2 things I needed to order, so I had to pay. I try and get stuff thru Amazon with the Prime shipping, but the price of the yarn is sooooo much more expensive. I am working on the gnome towels now. Time to shut down for the night.
  18. Glad to see you pop in Reni. So sorry about the colitis, hopefully you can beat it agian. Yeah it is the rusty and falling apart years. I saw a movie the other day and someone said, anyone who tells you getting older is great is nuts. It is the pits. Trade you, I am making chicken, stuffing and such like a Turkey dinner. Still hot here and not cooling down in site. Have a good night Reni. Hey it is snowing in KC and Denver.

  20. I am taking a stab at this. I made a llama, but his is confusing. Looks like you sc in 9 stitches, the chain 6. for rows 1-4 you only crochet in these 15 stitches. You should probable chain 7 not 6. You will then sc in second chain from hook and the last 5 along with the 9 stitches. turn and repeat till you have finished 4 rows. row 5 you will do 3 sc then 1 dc 3 times. so 3 dc, 1dec, 3dc, 1 dec. 3sc, 1dc you will have 12 stitches at the end. row 6-8 you will sc 12 stitches with turning at the end. row 9 1 sc, 1dc till you only have 8 stitches left. row 10-11. Sc 8 stitches with turning at end. row 12 4 dec till you only have 4 stitches. Then you will go back to the body and sc 3 stitches to start the next leg on the back or front. and on the sides it is 7 sc between the front and back leg on each side. Hope this helps.
  21. Not only do I count stitches, I also mark the first stitch or the row, even when it is an afghan. Especially when you are new. It helps to keep you from losing stitches.
  22. Good Morning. Boy Krys I do not miss wearing that stuff in the winter. Nice and warm and pretty. Not much going on today. Up early and just checking things out.
