  1. @Tampa Doll You're welcome! Please let me know if you are able to resolve this or not. It could be that your browser spell check unintentionally got turned off – it is unfortunately too easy to accidentally un-tick that option!
  2. Just a friendly reminder: No political discussion or opinions on the Crochetville forum, please. Political controversy will only divide, and we are here to come together over our mutual interest of crochet.
  3. @Tampa Doll I've now researched this in our forum software support, and spell check comes from your browser, not from the forum. Regardless of which browser you're using, you should be able to right-click in the editor (reply box) and enable a spell check option.
  4. @Tampa Doll before the upgrade, did spell check automatically correct your misspelled words? Or did it just underline misspelled words in red? Mine is only underlining in red.
  5. Hello all! I'm popping in here because we have a great giveaway happening on the Crochetville blog – for those of you who are interested in vintage needlework / crochet publications. Karen C.K. Ballard is featured on our blog tour today, and she is giving away 3 lots of vintage needlework / crochet publications. Karen is a collector, and she uses her day on the blog tour each year to give away some of her duplicates. She says says, “I like sharing these through Nat-Cro-Mo, with people whom I know will truly appreciate them.” Karen was also inducted into the Crochet Guild of America Croche
  6. Hello everyone! I have added an icon to the editor toolbar so you can change the background color on text. It may be useful if you want to emphasize something like this. Below is an image showing which icon it is, circled in red.
  7. You're welcome! ☺️ And thank you for the feedback. I'm so glad I figured out why mobile users were getting fewer icon controls in the toolbar.
  8. Hello, folks! Everyone who is on mobile (tablet or phone) should see they now have a lot more controls available in the editor window (reply box) toolbar. I've added these to the tablet/phone toolbar: text color, font size, align left, align center, bulleted list, numbered list. Please let me know if this is a helpful addition. Also, to everyone – whether you are on desktop or mobile – is there anything you'd like to be able to do in the editor window that you currently can't because you don't have a button to control it?
  9. No takers for participating in the blog tour? 😥 I promise to make it easy and, also, you can skip any questions that don't apply to you. I know you all like to share your projects with each other – this would be a great way for more people to see your beautiful work! Check out these two great posts from last year to see what it's like. Two totally different people – they just happen to both be named Mary. Mary in Michigan https://crochetville.com/mary-in-michigan-featured-crochet-hobbyist/ Mary Sweeny https://crochetville.com/mary-sweeney-featured-crochet-hobbyist/
  10. Thank you, Katie! I've been a busy bee getting ready for the blog tour. Lots to do behind the scenes!
