  1. I'm no thread expert. I think someone who knows more than me will come along with an answer. But once I did a thread project with baby blue and black. After completing the project, I rinsed and rinsed and rinsed (the black was bleeding) under lukewarm water until the water ran clear. But my item was not starched. You could try to rinse them thoroughly until all the red comes out and then re-starch them. I don't know if it's too late now that they've bled and dried.
  2. Hi Patty, welcome to Crochetville! I'm so glad you've joined us. I hope you enjoy it here. This summer we took a family vacation to Durango, Colorado and explored the Four Corners area. 5. Hi @Michaela, welcome to Crochetville! I'm so glad you've joined us. I learned to crochet at about the same age you did; I was 8 years old. I think freeform crochet is so lovely, but I'm not very good at it. I look forward to seeing some of your projects! Pokemon fans?

My son never got into Pokémon but his friends in school were into it. Yours are so well done!
  9. Brenda, I agree, the recently used section is very convenient. They have made some big strides in improving the mobile version. I have a few like this guy and this one that I have memorized the shortcut text for and I just type it in like this: :yes :welcome Of course that is probably only convenient on desktop, not mobile.
  10. Do you have any more details, like a web site or contact person? Or should interested crocheters just reply here in this topic?
  11. What a cutie! This is very nicely done.
  12. My goodness, I got a laugh out of this! Probably because it is so true about so many things.

  14. Mary Jo, all the old emoticons are still there. You have to scroll down past the default ones to get to our old ones. I just scroll down really fast to get to the bottom of all the emoticons. Also, once you have used the ones you like, they will be at the top in "Recently Used." At the bottom of all the "Emoji", our old emoticons: At the top, "Recently Used":
